Beth McDonald told many of Bill antics … specifying that he admired the late Johnny Carson. A friend, since 12 years old in Roswell, N.M., flew in from Napa Valley to say a few words about his childhood friend Bill. A big hit of the evening was Austin, a Belgian Malinois handled by three policemen … Austin (the dog) was bought out of funds Bill Austin’s estate provided.
